K. Allison from Califonia:
"I was taken to Po Jen Hospital emergency room by Ambulance because of Atrium Fibrillation. A team of Doctors and Nurses were waiting for me. I was treated with great kindness, professionalism and respect. The medical team inspired trust and confidence. They explained the procedures necessary for me to regain a regular heartbeat and were very reassuring.I am very grateful to God for such dedicated personnel and will remember them in my prayers. I was also very impressed by the doctors in the coronary care centre who showed a real empathy with those for whom they were caring. May our good Lord continue to bless their healing hands, their compassionate hearts and their dedication."

S.L. Lee from New Jersey:
"Our Mother has recently been discharged from ward 9 of Po Jen Hospital, following an inpatient stay in excess of 3 weeks. The care she received throughout her stay has been exemplary. The staff were attentive to both her and us, always happy to answer our numerous questions, nothing seemed too much trouble for them and this appeared to be the same for all patients. This level of care came from both nursing and medical staff. I think caring for elderly people is particularly challenging and takes a specific type of person. The team seem particularly dedicated. Thank you to everyone at Po Jen Hospital for all you did for Mama whilst she was in your care."

W.L.Huang from Taipei:
"My 93 year old mother-in-law was rushed into Po Jen Hospital ER early on this particular morning by ambulance. She was resident at a local nursing home and had suffered a catastrophic collapse caused by an aortic aneurysm which was haemorrhaging and inoperable. We received a phone call at 6.30am alerting us to go to Po Jen Hospital as soon as possible. Upon arival my wife (her daughter and only living relative) and I wer met by the medical team when a quiet room an they explained very sensitively and compassionately that nothing could be done to save our mum. The surgeon told us that they would look after her in the same way they hoped we would look after his mum. They reassured us that she would not feel any pain but that she would slip way peacefully over the coming hours. Throughout the time we remained at her bedside the staff monitored her condition and offered us support. After she passed away processes and procedures regarding death dedicates, registering her death Tec were all explained calmly and carefully to ensure we understood what steps we needed to take. We were so appreciative of the way everything was done to minimise the trauma of loving our loved one. We were given a very helpful booklet in which the charge nurse had thoughtfuly written all the phone numbers we would need. It was just over a week later that we visited the medical record office to collect the certificate to enable us to formally register her death in Taipei. Once again we were dealt with great compassion and everything clearly explained to us. Thank you for treating her and us with such professionalism and care."

S.F.Lai from Taipei:
"My GP referred me to Urology on Saturday June 10 on Monday the bookings team contacted me to bring the appointment forward to June 14. The treatment I received for the flexible cystoscopy both by the specialist responsible and the two nurses was excellent.I was booked for a pre op 20th June for a rigid cystoscopy on June 28/29.In the event the overnight stay was not necessary. The care and support I received was excellent at Po Jen Hospital. The reassurance that it was done so promptly and an explanation of why the overnight was not necessary were done so professionally that I do not fear the result of the single biopsy the team felt it sensible to follow up on.
My thanks to the whole team anesthetist, surgeons, nursing staff in day care and recovery including the cleaner on the day care unit!"

T.T. Liao from Shanghai:
"Doctors and nurses on delivery suite of Po Jen Hospital was amazing and so supportive during induction and failed epidural, OBGYN doctor was kind and nothing was too much trouble.
the nurses on special care unit were very supportive with helping me establish breastfeeding and expressing of milk for my baby. Staff on postnatal ward were kind and understanding of a hormonal and emotional new parents whose baby was on special care unit. The only negative I would say about the experience, was that my partner had to insist that postnatal staff did not mention breastfeeding to me as I was struggling to get baby to latch to the breast, and this was making me depressed as a result - I felt like I was being pressured to breastfeed (which I wanted to and was trying to) But as my baby would not cooperate, I felt no option but to formula feed until my milk came through. A lot of this I put down to spiralling hormones and emotions through my baby having to be readmitted to special care unit due to jaundice. We were in hospital for 5 days in total.
Overall a great experience at Po Jen Hospital  and would definitely recommend to others."
